Magnetfeldtherapie im allgemeinen Betrieb einer Rehabilitationseinrichtung Schwerpunktbetrachtung der Anwendung bei schweren Arthrosen

Abstract: The magnetic field therapy can render an excellent service within the framework of rehabilitation. After a brief survey of the mode of action of the magnetic field therapy, the author reports about selected examples, showing the use of this therapy in practice. Among others, the magnetic field therapy accelerates the healing process after bone fractures, reduces pain in the case of inflammatory and degenerative diseases, is a supporting therapy with detoxification and drainage processes, is the basis of every naturopathic treatment, and has a stimulating effect an the immune system. It can be well integrated in the framework of disease prophylaxis as an additional therapeutic offer in every practice and repeatedly shows impressive therapeutic results.The magnetic field therapy can be well combined synergistically with other forms of therapies. We can report about very good results in the case of decubitus, diabetic ulcera and with wound healing disturbances in connection with ozone fumigation. With the help of case reports, the clinical picture of severe arthrosis is discussed as an example. The author reports about his own experience in the daily dealings with this form of therapy in the Center for Prevention and Rehabilitation Terra Lava in the healthresort hotel Mary Sol at Tenerife.
