Antihomotoxische Behandlung von Bronchitiden im Kindes- und Jugendalter

Abstract: Droperteel is a homoepathic compound preparation comprised of the ingredients Drosera, Lachesis, Carbo vegetabilis, Dactylopius coccus / Coccus cacti and Kalium carbonicum used for treatment of bronchitis of various origin and for adjuvant administration in cases of congestive bronchitis and whooping cough. In a drug monitoring study involving 205 observations in 201 patients practical information was obtained on the efficacy and tolerability of the remedy primary in children and juveniles. In general, according to the physicians' rating the tolerability of Droperteel was almost exclusively excellent or good. There were no cases of adverse events. The therapeutic efficacy of the treatment was assessed as good or very good in over 90 % of treatments. An improvement of the symptoms was mostly observed within the first week, but frequently occurred as early as after the first administration. In about one third of cases Droperteel was administered in monotherapy.
