Abstract: Corpus luteum insufficiency very often causes anomalous hemorrhages and infertility due to the imbalance between estrogens and progesterone but also results in further symptoms such as mastodynia and mastopathia, headache and depression as a consequence of the premenstrual syndrome. These findings reveal themselves by the same disease and consequently merit the interest and the attention of further divisions such as internal medicine, neurology, and psychiatry. If in case of severe troubles of the ovarian function the therapeutical choice is found in the conventional synthetic ovulation release agent, the administration of Agnolyt will be promising for young patients of normal weight, as experienced by us an 45 patients (87% successful therapy, 15% rate of pregnancies).
