Lactulose in der Therapie rezidivierender Vaginal- und Darmmykosen durch Candida albicans?

Abstract: Dr. med. H. Baumjohann Arzt für Frauenheilkunde und Geburtshilfe Bremen Zusammenfassung Vaginalmykosen sind weit verbreitet. Ihre Behandlung mit Antimykotika ist tägliche Praxis. Bei vielen Patientinnen tritt jedoch - oft binnen Monatsfrist - ein Rezidiv auf. Ein neuerlicher Behandlungszyklus wird nötig. Jahrelange Verläufe dieser Art sind in der gynäkologischen Praxis häufig. Dabei Iäßt sich regelmäßig auch eine Darmmykose nachweisen. Bei der Behandlung mit Lactulose wurde ein grundsätzlich anderer gedanklicher Ansatz verfolgt: die Förderung der natürlichen Darmflora die so die Hypothese in einem nunmehr gesunden Ökosystem Darm anhaltend die Vermehrung von pathogenen Hefen unterdrückt. Der überzeugende Erfolg schon bei den ersten Fällen veranlaßt uns gleich das erste Rezidiv mit Lactulose zu behandeln. Summary The vaginal mycosis is largely spread. Its treatment by using antimycotics is practised everyday. Many patients show however a tendency to recidivism often within a month's time. Another treatment cycle becomes necessary. Developments of this kind lasting for years are often-observed at the gynaecologist's consulting room. At the same time regularly an intestinal mycosis is stated. For its treatment by using lactulose another fundamental idea has been taken into consideration: promotion of the natural intestinal flora thus suppressing permanently - according to the hypothesis the propagation of pathogenous yeast within the now sound ecological system of the intestine. The convincing successs in first cases already encourages us to start immediately with the treatment by means of lactulose when stating the first recidivism.
