Peloidtherapie mit Mooranwendungen in der Gynäkologie

Abstract: Dr. med. R. Kovarik Aachen Zusammenfassung Die traditionsreiche Moorbehandlung wird in der Gynäkologie nicht nur im Kurort sondern auch in Krankenhäusern und Arztpraxen durchgeführt. Dabei stehen uns sowohl das Naturmoor als auch natürliche oder synthetische Moorfraktionen zur Verfügung. Die Anwendungen erfolgen sowohl transkutan (Moorbad Moorpackung) als auch intrakörperlich (vaginal rektal). Durch heiße oder kalte Moorbehandlungen werden die Stoffwechsellage und Durchblutung beeinflußt. Je nach Anwendungsart wird eine organ-/funktions-stimulierende oder -erholende Wirkung erreicht. Einige Grenzen und Kontraindikationen dieser Therapie sind dabei zu beachten. Summary In the gynaecology the traditional treatment with mud is not only performed in the health-resort but also in hospitals and medical practices. Both natural mud and also natural and synthetic mud fractions are available for such treatment. Transcutaneous applications (mud-bath mud-pack) as well as intracorporal applications (vaginal rectal) are usual. The metabolic condition and the perfusion are influenced by hot or cold treatments with mud. Depending on the way in which the mud is applied a stimulation or recovering effect is achieved with regard to the organic functions. Some limits and contra-indications of this therapy have to be considered. wt
