Die Anwendung der transkutanen elektrischen Nervenstimulation zur Analgesie in der postoperativen Phase

LANGE) Zusammenfassung In der postoperativen Nachsorge tritt eine wirkungsvolle Schmerzstillegung in den Mittelpunkt. Mit der nebenwirkungsfreien und einfach zu handhabenden transkutanen elektrischen Nervenstimulation (TENS) wurden 20 Patienten unmittelbar postoperativ behandelt. Sie benötigten 50 % weniger Analgetika vom Opiattyp als eine Vergleichsgruppe mit Plazebostromtherapie und eine Kontrollgruppe ohne TENS-Behandlung. Voraussetzung für gute Behandlungserfolge stellt ein intensiver Therapieplan mit lückenlosem Anschluß an die Narkose und nur kurzen Strompausen dar. Summary In the postoperative after-care an effective analgesia comes into the centre. By means of the transcutaneous electric nerve stimulation (TENS) which is free of side effects and easily to manage 20 patients were treated immediately after Operation. They needed 50 % less analgesics of the opiate type than a comparative group with placebo current therapy and a control group without TENS treatment. An intensive therapy plan with uninterrupted attachment to anaesthesia and only short breaks of current represents a prerequisite for good results in treatment. hl
