Zur Akupunktur des therapieresistenten Zervikalsyndroms

Abstract: The cervical syndrome has been found to be of great significance in ENT patients.In a catamnestic examination 20 of 40 pretreated patients could be studied. Complaints have existed on an average of 4,9 years before acupuncture treatment, 75% of the patients having trouble in their profession or being unable to work. 1 year after treatment only 1 of 6 patients reported not to have improved. All but 3 believed acupuncture to be better than unfavourable pretreatment. Lacking side effects or worsening were f further advantages of acupuncture.
