Abstract: In previous papers two different fields of activity of the absorbed quantum energy to the cutaneous system within the totality were demonstrated; there was made a distinction between skin and body dose. The body dose shows a significant proportionality between skin reaction and irradiated body volume. Therefore a uniform ubiquitous tissue substrate can be assumed absorbing the quantum energy. Bipartizing the body tissues in a nonuniform transistory tissue and a uniform ubiquitous mesenchymal permanent tissue nothing but the latter can be quoted for the explanation of the proportionality. Previous experimental investigations lacking we can only empirically substantiate through observations and experiences that the absorption of ionizing quantum energy in the mesenchyma forms an essential factor 1) for the function of the mesenchyma and 2) for the effect of the body dose on the skin. We came to the following findigs: the mesenchyma is capable to take up ionizing quantum energy from the environment and to utilize it to a certain amount for energy consuming biopositiv holistic processes. A certain surplus of energy not utilizable anymore can be regulated within the totality. Only a further surplus of absorbed energy beyond a limiting value has a demaging and destructive effect through the known processes leading to a deposition of energy in structural elements. Yet this findigs empirically made have to be investigated. The long wave border-line rays at present yield the practicallyexactest method for quantitativ measurements of the quantum energy absorbed by the superficial dermal layers. Thus they open a new way for investigation of the fate of absorbed ionizing quantum energy within the totality scientifically more exact than hitherto.
