Abstract: II. SUR L'AUGMENTATION DU TAUX DES MUCOPOLYSACCHARIDES NEUTRES ET ACIDES AU SEIN DES RÉACTIONS CUTANÉES D'ARTHUS ET DE SHWARTZMAN Suzanne BAZIN et Albert DELAUNAY PAR (avec la collaboration technique de Waltraut WOHLFARTH) SUMMARY BIOCHEMISTRY OF INFLAMMATION. II. ABOUT THE INGREASE OF NEUTRAL AND ACID POLYSACCHARIDES IN THE ARTHUS AND SHWARTZMAN SKIN REACTIONS. The present report confirms and completes previous results ; it proves that there exists an early starting rapid and important increase of polysaccharides in allergic granulomas. This increase regards two sorts of substances a) Neutral MP of a fraction soluble in a buffer of physiological ionic concentration and pH ; b) Acid MP of two fractions soluble and insoluble in the same buffer. The most important increase is observed with the insoluble fraction in the Arthus phenomenon with the soluble fraction in the Shwartzman phenomenon. schö
