Abstract: By means of the circumfluence of disturbing fields with procaine (trade-name novocaine) their regulation depressing effect can be reduced or even eliminated. In healthy individuals this may result in a successful prophylaxis of chronic diseases to which also belong the malignomata. In cancer patients this therapy is suited to increase the response of the organism to the so-called biological cancer therapy or an the whole at first to ensure such response. The socalled segmental therapy within the frame of the neural therapy is performed by means of intracutaneous injections, trigger point injections and preperiosteal infiltrations and/or circumfluence of the ganglia of the sympathetic nerve-system belonging thereto, e. g. ganglion stellatum or ganglion coeliacum. This results in an improved local circulation and reduction of oedema throug-segmental-regulatory switches and, thus, distinct reduction of a tense feeling and pain in the region of the respective organ and its projection zones in the sense of a palliative therapy.
