Die Sicherheit der Methode des Therapeutischen Taschenbuchs von Bönninghausen

Abstract: The recent article by K. Holzapfel (ZKH 4/2000) raises important observations and concerns regarding the accuracy and therefore reliability of information contained in Bönninghausen's Therapeutisches Taschenbuch of 1846 (TT) by highlighting a number of apparent inconsistencies compared with its (incomplete) TTmanusticrpt (TTman), previous repertories of Bönninghausen (Systematic Alphabetic Repertory of Homoeopathic Remedies (Part 1, Antipsoric [SRA]; Part 2, Non-Antipsoric []), and C.M. Boger's Bönninghausen's charactersitics and Repertory, 1905 (BB). We herein provide evidence for the clarification of a number of questions raised by Holzapfel, many of which hat to be adequately answered in the course of Therapeutic Pocketbook English Language Republication Project, culminating in "The Bönninghausen Repertory" - Therapeutic Pocketbool Method" (TBP). Background to this project is provided to orient the reader, and extracts from our TBR Preface are used to highlight similar questions as raised by Holzapfel, and the basis for the conclusions reached.
