Abstract: *MD University of Coruna (Spain) **MD Asociation of Spa of Galicia (Spain) ***MD. Professor of University of Madrid (Spain) Departamento de Medicina Oza s/n Coruna (Spain) Galicia is a region NW of Spain. In the North and West its coasts are washed by the Atlantic ocean. The climate is subtropical atlantic; there are very little thermic changes with cool summers and warm winters. In the south the transitional climate towards the mediterranean is obviously with 290 sunny days and warm summers. The sea waters therapy centers at the begining of the century were closed and nowdays three centers are being built in the south of Galicia. In this presentation we report the following subjects: The geographical and climatic characteristics of Galicia (Spain) and the places of three sea waters therapy centers. The chemical physicochemical of fitoplancton and seaweeds analytic results of the Galicia coasts. Description of the projects at the present time which are being developed. wt
