Abstract: INTRODUCTION Our process of continuous electrophoresis is protected by many patents at home and abroad. That the importance of this method of fractionating mixtures is increasing all the time is shown by the large number of publications that have appeared since the method was first described. Also the ever widening field of applications shows the more and more frequent use of this simple and elegant method for the separation of electrically charged components of a mixture. The improvements in the design of the Elphor-V-apparatur have gone hand in hand with this development. It has been perfected and simplified in close collaboration with the inventors. The apparatus is now offered in two standard sizes. . . .
