Hartmann adresse ci-dessus SUMMARY The environment of thalassotherapy centers : Hygiene of facilities - Microbiological aspects. - It is necessary in thalassotherapy centers to check both physicochemical and microbiological factors. This can be achieved only by use of an HACCP type strategy combining through knowledge of criticaI aspects and their monitoring : facilities maintenance and auto-surveillance. It is important to be aware of the main microbiological hazards and possible interactions which may occur in this type of environment. It is essential to limit contamination with organic matter and organize disinfection if microbiological growth is to be controlIed. RÉSUMÉ Dans les installations de thalassothérapie il convient de maîtriser les phénomènes physico-chimiques et microbiologiques. Ceci ne peut s'obtenir que par une démarche de type HACCP qui associe une réflexion approfondie sur les points critiques et leur maîtrise : travaux entretien et autosurveillance. Il faut donc bien connaître les principaux dangers bactériologiques et les interactions qui se produisent dans ce type de milieu. Pour la maîtrise de la prolifération bactérienne dans les Biofilms il conviendra de limiter les apports de matière organique et de réaliser des désinfections efficaces.
