Gemeinschaftsorientiertes Wohnen mit gesicherter Pflege im Servicehaus: Die Situation der jüngeren Behinderten im Modellprojekt "Haus am Weinberg" in Stuttgart

Abstract: Gabriele Gerngroß-Haas Diplom-Soziologin Master of Science in Environmental Psychology HERAPLAN Stuttgart Büro für Planung Forschung und Beratung Fachgebiete Altenhilfe Behindertenhilfe Hilfe für psychisch Kranke Hilfe für Suchtkranke Stuttgart Zusammenfassung: Am Beispiel des "Hauses am Weinberg" in Stuttgart wird eine neue Wohnform für Menschen mit körperlichen Behinderungen vorgestellt. Unter 60jährige Körperbehinderte wohnen in vollständigen Appartements in einem Servicehaus "Tür an Tür" mit älteren Menschen und können bei Bedarf individuell abgestimmte Dienste (Pflege Sozialer Betreuungsdienst Küche und Hauswirtschaft Hausmeisterei) bis hin zu gesicherter Dauer- und Schwerstpflege beziehen. Aus der wissenschaftlichen Begleitforschung dieses Modellprojekts wird u.a. berichtet wie sich das Zusammenleben im Haus bezüglich der Mischung von Alt und Jung von weniger Hilfebedürftigen und Pflegebedürftigen bewährt und welche Planungshinweise sich für ähnliche Projekte ableiten lassen. Eine wesentliche Quelle für diese Informationen sind leitfadengestützte qualitative Interviews mit Betroffenen. Communal living Oriented Housing with Attendant Care in a Service Residence: The Situation of the Younger Disabled Individuals in the Stuttgart "House on the Vineyard" Model Project: A novel form of residence for persons with physical disablement is presented on the example of the Stuttgart "House on the Vineyard". In fully self-contained apartments integrated in a service residence physically disabled individuals under age 60 live door-to-door with elderly people with custom services being available as and when needed ranging from nursing Social Service meals and home-making janitor to nursing and care services on a long-term basis as well as in case of extensive care needs. Findings presented from the model project's scientific evaluation inter alia refer to the long-term development seen in how Old and Young or those with lesser and more extensive care needs are getting along and implications are set out that should be heeded in planning similar projects. A major source for compiling this information had been structured qualitative interviews with the tenents concerned.
