Evidence for functional abnormality in the right auditory cortex during musical hallucinations [letter]

Abstract: Right auditory cortex dysfunction during musical hallucinations occurred in an 88-year-old woman, who was otherwise cognitively intact. We assessed this phenomenon with a combination of neuromagnetic and cerebral blood-flow measurements.
