Journal/Book: Bull Menninger Clin. 1999; 63: Box 829, Topeka, KS 66601, USA. Menninger Foundation. A16-A21.
Abstract: Early identification of Alzheimer's disease is important for both medical and socioeconomic reasons. However, pathognomonic tests are trot yet available, and precise diagnostic markers have not been identified. The author highlights techniques in neuroimaging, neuropsychometric testing, and clinical genetics to provide a conceptual framework for utilizing new diagnostic developments anticipated in the near future.
