Main-Höchst Urologische Klinik Frankfurt a. M. Zusammenfassung Die erektile Dysfunktion (Impotenz des Mannes) betrifft circa 10% der männlichen Bevölkerung. Sie hat vorwiegend organische aber auch psychische Ursachen. Ein altersbedingtes Hormondefizit betrifft nur einen kleinen Prozentsatz. Eine ausgefeilte urologische Diagnostik ist notwendig. Die Therapie ist medikamentös und zum Teil auch operativ möglich. Die einzelnen Möglichkeiten werden vorgestellt. Abstract Diagnosis and therapy of erectile dysfunction The erectile dysfunction (impotence of the man) affects 10% of the male population. It is mostly due to physical problems but also due to mental causes. A hormone deficiency due to age affects only a small percentage of the patients. A differentiated urologic diagnostic is necessary. Therapy includes pharmacological and partly surgical treatment. The different options are demonstrated.
