Abstract: This practice report provides insight into the use of rock music in a clinic forr Child and Adolescent Psychiatry/ Psychotherapy. Active music-making in a rock band offers a therapeutic and pedagogic opportunity which, by means of immediate holistic experience, gives rises to specific social and emotional situations. This in turn supports the treatment process.
