Abstract: In the case of unsolvable conflicts, man develops segmentally arranged protective shields of the muscular apparatus in the area of the trunk. These protective shields permanently mould the reaction behavior of man and on the other hand they lead to dysfunctions via reflex circular disturbances in the organ area and some day to organic diseases. A distinction is made between muscular tenseness, which is the result of disturbances in the body level, personality level and ego level.
