Abstract: In clinical studies and experiments with animals it has been shown, that with the supply of saccharose peroral and glucose intravenous or peroral, a renal excess excretion of kations occurs.In addition to potassium and magnesium, especially zinc, copper, manganese, and cobalt are affected. To optimize a therapeutically indicated supply of individual or several mineral substances, the limitation of carbohydrates with low molecular weight during supplementation is necessary.
