Reflexion zum Ergebnis der Münchner Kopfschmerzstudie.

Abstract: Already in advance of a detailed official publication, the results of the study on headache carried out in Munich were announced: in the case of chronic headache homoeopathy is not more offective than a placebp. Up to now, the study is unique in combining homoeopathic claims and the scientific standards which are presently usual, but the study does not produce evidence, due to methodical reasons, that homoeopathy is a placebo. Difficulties during the treatment, which showed during the course of the study, are appreciated critically. In addition to the question, whether homoeopathic effects can be proven witha method which imlpies causal mechanisms of effect, the question concerning the consequences for further homoeopathic research has to be asked.
