Serendipity analogues: Approval of modifications of the traditional case study for a psychotherapy research with music

Abstract: Applies the term "serendipity analogue" to 2 accidental events that made possible the approval of modifications of the traditional case study for the initial testing of a psychotherapy technique with music of a graduate student's research proposal to fulfill doctoral degree requirements in clinical psychology in the US. The results are discussed in the context of the research position of creative arts therapists.
