Klinische Erprobung einer neuen Küvette zur Ultraviolettbestrahlung des Blutes (UVB)

Abstract: The efficacy of a new snake-like formed quartz tube disposable system of the Gimpl company, Obertshausen (Germany), for treatment of own blood with ultra-violet irradiation (UVB) is demonstrated in 6 patients with 6 treatments over 6 weeks. The evaluation included the casuistry, the clinical-chemical and the haematological efficiacy. The changes were secured statistically in the following parameters: systolic and diastolic blood pressurue, thrombocytes, leukocytes and basophiles. For practitioners a similar spectrum of efficacy is to be seen as in the more frequently used flat or hollow coil cuvettes for UVB.
