Abstract: Skin diseases are not only a problem for the family doctor but also for the specialist. Very often the treatment by a specialist is limited to the administration of topical preparations which do not solve the problem.Since many years, the autohaemotherapy has proven its worth in the treatment of skin diseases.There are two main fields in the complex of skin diseases, which can be treated successfully especially with the autohaemotherapy.1. Acne as well as purulent diseases, which are often related to the metabolisrn (often furunculosis and abscesses)2. NeurodermatitisTaking into consideration the basic rules drawn up in this work, the autohaemotherapy can still be used effectively in general practice for the treatment of skin diseases today.
