Ein Screening-Test zur Erfassung der Plasma- und Vollblutviskosität bei Gesunden und Durchblutungsgestörten

Abstract: The importance of plasma and blood viscosity for disturbances of microcirculation in haemorheology is a long lasting topic. But it was failed to develop broadly practicable screening methods or to undergraduate existing trials in this direction.Filterability of plasma and whole blood has been evaluated by us as a good measuring procedure in practice for detecting viscosity in a given patient. Simplifying a method for estimation of erythrocyte filterability by Stäubli and coworker we were able to verify the ability of the method as a screening for distinguishing between blood donors and patients with hypertonia, arterial occlusive disease, diabetes mellitus, chronical venous insufficiency migraine, hearing loss and chronical inflammatory processes.
