Abstract: In spite of continually flaring up disputes concerning the "correct" spelling of the homoeopathic law, discovered by Hahnemann ("Similia similibus curentur" or " curantur"), the exact definition of "similar" is not plain. It is attempted in ths article to demonstrate, that an exact definition is not possible, nevertheless the law "Similia similibus" being indispensable for homoeopathic practice.
