Abstract: Thanks to the biological-vegetal active ingredient compound of Asparagus P a physiologically adapted reduction of the liquid volume is possible. Asparagus P takes an autonomous position among the phytopharmaca. This is discussed by using an example. The action is clearly defined by the term "aquaresis" in comparison to the mechanisms of synthetic diuretics. Special advantage are shown for applications agains insufficiency of the herat, cirrhosis or nephrotic syndrome. Aquaresis is discussed for treating hypertension and idiopathic edemas.
