Über Esoterik, New Age und die spirituelle Dimension des HeilensTeil II

Abstract: In the first part of this article, which was published in the number 12/92 of the journal "Erfahrungsheilkunde" it has been shown, how the height of the Christian Occidental thinking is characterized on the level of consciousness by the integration of the polarity of divine immanence and divine transcendence, of understandable law and not understandable mercy, of human power and human miserableness.Similarly, the decline of the Christian Occidental culture is interpreted, which was caused by the loss of the polar unity in thinking, a dualistic absolutization of die divine transcendence and the human miserableness. The New Age can be understood as a spiritual counter-offensive, which - one-sided monistic - now absolutizes the divine immanance and the human divinity.In this second part, the so-called psychosomatism is criticized, which is an absolutization of psychosomatic ideas, especially in the form of an esoteric veiling in the manner of Dethlefsen.Then the term esoterics is marked off from theology, philosophy, science and religion as well as discussed and illuminated. Finally the importance of esoterics and esoteric thinking for medicine is shown. In this case it is very important, that the physician realizes effects of his action concerning the level of destiny,
