Attitudes to homoeopathy in a sample of veterinarians

Abstract: In anticipation of a growing demand for homoeopathic veterinary treatment by owners, this survey sought to study existing attitudes to the discipline amongst veterinary surgeons. Approximately 59 % of the sample believed that homoeopathic remedies had a useful role in modern veterinary care. Lack of knowledge and time were the main reasons preventing both the extended use or initial introduction of homoeopathy. A need for proof of efficacy was also expressed.
