Abstract: Carl Huter, the founder of the psychophysiognomonics, has in his work Analysis of men 's character "provided knowledge in five volumes with which every physician should acquaint himself besides the knowledge of the classical medicine and that of natural treatment (soft medicine). With his theory of the three primary tempers and six secondary tempers, their phaenotype, their characteristic basic requirements, inclinations and peculiarities he renders it easy for everyone of us to observe and to recognize our associates, partners and also our patients in the whole. The signals the patient is giving, can rapidly and purposefully be recognized, required remedies and therapeutical measures can be found and used and that by means of individual physiognomical analysis. Wrong decisions are less often, the actions become more effective, the work with and at men is more enjoyable.
