Working with the black and white of codependency

Abstract: Codependency is a narcissistic disturbance in which a person becomes overly dependent on others for his or her self-worth. Affirmation is fostered by a tendency to be generational and thus well entrenched in a person's psychic make-up. A case study of a 32-yr-old single mother of 3 children illustrates such characteristics, which prove workable through images and patience.
