Probleme der Lendenwirbelsäule aus der Sicht des klinischen Orthopäden

Abstract: In course of life many people suffer from lumbago and many symptomatologies may hide behind such pains. For diagnosis and purposeful therapy the exact knowledge of the anatomic conditions of the motorial segments, the extensive anamnesis, inspection, palpation as well as carefully obtained orthopaedic status inclusive of the chirodiagnosis and the neurological eventually also the röntgenoscopical and chemical laboratory investigation with exclusion of disturbing fields are especially important. Especially lumbar syndromes (syndrome of the lumbar vertebral column, lumbalgia, lumbago, facette syndrome) lumboischialgia and prolapsus of intervertebral disks have to be clarified by differential diagnosis' Special kinds of disorders are often found with spinal stenosis, spondylolisthesis, lumbar scoliosis, lumbosacral transitional vertebra, Baastrup's disease, blockage in the lumbosacral region, inflammatory diseases of the vertebral column, spinal tumours, osteoporosis and Bechterew's disease.Purposeful possibilities of treatment shall be shown.
