Einflüsse von Wetter- und Klimareizen auf Verkehrsverhalten und Kriminalität sowie Leistungsfähigkeit am Arbeitsplatz |

Abstract: "Weather sensitivity" is a health complaint heard from nearly half of the German population. Weather sensitivity is not a clearly-defined clinical diagnosis, but rather a complex of symptoms that is extremely difficult to detect and document using clinical laboratory or technical methods. In the course or a trial observation study lasting nearly 5 years, more than 500 patients were treated with phytotherapeutic agents (aetheric oil distillate, blossom pollen). This therapy resulted in a clear reduction in the symptoms of weather sensitivity. It was also demonstrated that there is a connection between biologically unfavourable weather conditions and related work disability as well as the occurrence of accidents and criminal acts in the greater Bonn area. Weather sensitivity is thus a problem in the fields of social medicine and national economics as well as a medical phenomenon.
