Abstract: In the Old Testament the men of God are the central figures in the successful treatment of all kinds of diseases and in the control of epidemics, whereas the professional physicians play only an unimportant role. God is the true and main healing physician.The principles of healing in the Old Testament still play a significant role in many disciplines of naturopathy, dietetic therapies, epidemiology and reanimation.
