Abstract: In accordance with his rather symptomatic therapy, a doctor in a health resort should have particular physiological and pathophysiological knowledge. He finds his access to the patient via the findings and complaints as well as via the subjective experiencing of them. So the time spent an this "speaking medicine" must be considered. The doctors proved way of acting is now threatened by the insufficient way of seeing oneself, by socio-political restrictions and by an insufficient influence an the use of therapy.
