Malignant Growths of Youth and of Age.

Abstract: In anthroposophist medicine the human »Time-gestaltÂ•( is of great importance. Growing and aging are a phenomenon of vitalisation and devitalisation, occurring within the set pattern of a time-gestalt. The growth of a tumour in adult life can be understood as a pathological relapse into the vital situation of the stage of embryo and childhood. Malignant growths during childhood show disturbances in the differentiation of structures. With these types of tumours, chemotherapy and radiotherapy have proven more successful than with the solid epithelial tumours of the adult. Here good results have been achieved with anthroposophist mistle therapy.
