Long-term Effects of the Health Resort Stay: Wishful Thinking or Reality?

Abstract: In literature back-searches no studies of long-term effects of health resort stays or rehabilitation measures could be found. With the exception of physical medicine and studies an locally determined therapeuticums the range of longterm effects of the health resort stay has not been scientifically investigated. Exact medical diagnostics, standardized therapeutical processes, and reproduceability could be a starting point for developing and evaluating long-term results also in the field of rehabilitation.
