Abstract: The various diseases of the prostate gland are described with concise differential diagnosis. It shows that in particular the prostatitis syndrome as well as the adenoma of the prostate gland are accessible to a homoeopathic treatment; in contrast thereto the acute prostatitis and above all the carcinoma of the prostate gland are no primary indication for any homoeotherapy, but this does, nevertheless, not exclude its use as adjuvant.
