Immune-Monitoring und adjuvante Immuntherapie in der Onkologie

Abstract: Dr. med. P. Schleicher München Zusammenfassung Nach den heute bestehenden Kenntnissen der engen Zusammenhänge immunologischer Schwächen und der Tumorentstehung darf keine onkologische Therapie ohne immunologische Kontrolle durchgeführt werden. Nach Diagnostik eines Tumors muß zum frühesten Zeitpunkt das geschädigte zelluläre Abwehrsystem behandelt und normalisiert sein. Ein konsequentes immunologisches Monitoring unter gezielter Immunmodulation erhöht die Chancen der Tumorausheilung. Viele immunologisch wirksame Substanzen haben eine hohe Wertigkeit als adjuvante begleitende Therapie in der Onkologie. Tumorspezifische Wirksamkeiten müssen in den nächsten Jahren durch gezielte Studien ermittelt werden. Da immunologisch wirksame Therapien auch zur Abnahme der zellulären Leistung führen können ist ein exaktes Monitoring während der Behandlung beim onkologischen Patienten unumgänglich. Neben der Bestimmung der Subpopulationen der Lymphozyten der Makrophagen und Natural-Killerzellen ist der Ausgleich wichtiger Vitamine Mineralien und Spurenelemente ein weiterer Schritt zur optimalen Funktion des Immunsystems. Die ganzheitsmedizinische Behandlung des Tumorpatienten eingebettet in exaktes immunologisches Monitoring mit entsprechender immunmodulativer Therapie verspricht bessere Behandlungsergebnisse und höhere Heilchancen. Summary According to modern knowledge of the close relations between immunological deficiencies and the development of tumors no oncological therapy should be performed without immunological control. After a tumour has been diagnosed the damaged cellular immune system must be treated and normalized as early as possible. Consequent immunological monitoring under aimed immuno-modulation increases the chance of healing the tumour. In oncology many immunologically effective substances have a high value as adjuvant accompanying therapy. Within the next years tumour specific efficacies must be found out by means of purposeful studies. Since immunologically effective therapies may also result in a decrease of the cellular performance and efficiency an exact monitoring during the treatment of the oncological patient is indispensable. Apart from the determination of the subpopulations of the lymphocytes the macrophages and natural killer cells the substitution of important vitamines minerals and trace-elements is a further step towards the optimum function of the immune system. The treatment of the tumour patient according to holistic medicine embedded in exact immunological monitoring with respective immunomoludative therapy promises better results of treatment and higher chances of healing. wt
