Survival of the fittest: a game plan for music therapists in business
Abstract: This thesis is a manual for music therapists in private practice. It is a synthesis of thoughts, observations, and materials the author discovered during her work as an entrepreneur. It includes the following sections: introduction (the game plan), game rules, the first steps, marketing development, marketing tools, professional service options, proposals and contracts, basic bookkeeping, business taxes, conclusion (evolution of the game plan), and coda (how to survive and thrive as a game player).
