Schwankungen des CO2-Gehaltes in Mineral- und Heilquellen

Abstract: The draft of the drug guidelines demands that for the finished drug the permissible tolerances for the active ingredients of ± 5 % are not to be exceeded. This is often not possible for natural medicinal waters since the raw materials, the water from the medicinal spring, e ready subject to significant fluctuations. The evaluation of long-term research has revealed that the mineral substances are subject to natural fluctuations of up to ± 20 %. The CO2 contents of the spring are subject to even greater fluctuations due to geological, hydrological and piping, technology. With the relatively low an amounts of CO2 added to commercial medic waters, it is essentially technically impossible to stay within the tolerance of ± 5 % so that rather large fluctuations ca addition to natural fluctuations.The results of the research are presented and discussed in detail.
