Kreuzschmerzen aus der Sicht der Gynäkologie und Gynäko-Balneologie

Abstract: At first the author points out to the frequency of lumbago in gynaecology as well as to the necessity of close cooperation between gynaecologists and/ or orthopaedists and rheumatologists, respectively, in the causal genesis of lumbago. There are often 2 or 3 causes with which then the author deals in detail. These are: 1. Neurovegetative disorders of the lesser pelvis in their great variety. 2. Genital inflammations. 3. Insufficiency of bottom of the pelvis, cystoceles, rectoceles, descensus uteri. 4. Tumors and anomalies with respect to the position (e.g. hypooplasia and retroflexio uteri). 5. Adipositas, insufficiency of the abdominal walls with meteorism. 6. Endometriosis. 7. Hormonal disorders (decrease of the strogen level in the pre-climateric and climateric period). Further, the wide array of therapeutical possibilities in the watering-place and spa for women´s diseases are pointed out as well as the significance of the regimens and the report on the course of medical treatment.
