Ergebnisse der Akupunkturbehandlung bei Schmerzpatienten unter Berücksichtigung testpsychologischer Befunde

Abstract: A prospective study should demonstrate the influence of psychic factors on the results of acupuncture treatment in pain patients. 70 patients took part. They registered the parameters of pain in a pain calendar before, during and after the treatment period. Before the treatment they filled in 3 psychological questionaires. The parameters of pain were evaluated before and after the treatment period and after one year. The results of treatment were significantly worse in the group with remarkable results of the psychological tests. The group of non-responders was characterized by significantly more patients with remarkable results of the psychological tests.
