Totalremission eines durch ein Gallenblasenkarzinom bedingten Verschlußikterus unter Isorei (Vysorel)-Therapie

Abstract: A 63-year old female patient with an advanced carcinoma of the gallbladder is presented in this case. After a neoplasticrelated obstructive icterus with a Serum-Bilirubin-level of 8,5 mg % had developed, a successive regression of the cholestasis to Serum-Bilirubin of 1,39mg% within a period of three months was observed undertaking therapy with the mistletoe-preparation "Isorel M". Furthermore a distinct improvement of the general state of helth, as well as several haemotological parameters were noticed. The diagnosis was confirmed histologically. In no stage of illness the patient was treated with chemo- or radiotherapy. The clinical course is therefore considered as and evidence for the potency of Isorel M in tumor-treatment.
