Journal/Book: Natur- und Ganzheitsmedizin Wissenschaft und Praxis. 1990; 3/3: 73-77.
Abstract: The general practitioner working holistically does not restrict himself to the treatment of diseases. He sees the patient in his individual environment and directs his actions accordingly. With the example of a 67-year old female patient, the five levels of information of general medicine an which the activities of the family doctor are based, are explained. These levels are the somatic level, the psychological level, the social level, the family level, and the biographical level. The main task of the family doctor is to accompany the patient and to unite single results to one overall picture.
