Untersuchung zur Wirksamkeit und Verträglichkeit phytotherapeutischer Komplexmittel bei klimakterischen Beschwerden im Zusammenhang mit gynäkologischen Grunderkrankungen

Abstract: The efficacy and tolerance of a phytotherapeutical agent in the case of 20 female patients with climacteric trouble were investigated within the scope of an open ambulatory clinical study. At the same time, these patients were under clinicalobservation because of gynaecological basic diseases. There was neither any indication for an oestrogen substitution nor even a contraindication. The control documentation after 4 and 6 weeks showed a very good improvement as far as the cutaneous symptoms, hot flashes, outbreaks of sweat, somnipathy as well as lassitude, increased dermal and mucosal susceptibility, loss of hair and brittle nails were concerned.There was also a tendency towards an increase of the psychic well-being which was, however, already at the beginning at an average normal level.Tolerance problems were not observed.
