Abstract: The author works as a music therapist with adult mentally handicapped. In this article she describes a project executed with the visitors of a DVO: the children's musical "Dorp zonder Muziek". At the end of her thorough description she wonders whether this is a case of 'just' a recreational activity, or whether there is more.
