Abstract: Music therapy in cases of obesity. The combined group therapy described here forms part of a project carried out at the Out-Patients' Psychotherapy Department of the University of Ulm, South Germany. The aims of the project are 1) to find an explanation for the current high failure rate (long-term catamnesis) in obesity therapy and 2) to discover whether a more differentiated first diagnosis and a differential therapy plan based on it can lead to an improvement in long-term therapy success.
