Klinischer Erfahrungsbericht über den Einsatz eines Phytotherapeutikums bei der Behandlung von chronischen Erkrankungen der Nase und Nebenhöhlen

Abstract: In an open study the therapeutical efficiency and the tolerance of Luffa purgans has been examined an 23 patients, who were suffering an a chronical disease of the nose and parangsals. Luffa purgans is a proved natural remedy (Cleansing Spongelets) of the South American Indians.The study was carried out from February 1988 until July 1988. With respect to the subjective symptomatology and the objective initial finding the efficiency of Luffa purgans could be proved.During the treatment a distinct approvement already in the first week was noticed. The tolerance of the preparation was mainly good. Questioning the patients Luffa purgans was tolerated without side effect.Laboratory-examinations showed no injuring influence an the hematological and blood-chemical parameter, as well as an the urinolysis.
